Apparently the bad economy in the states, is doing wonders for vacation destinations where the US dollar is still strong. Mexican tourism officials say they saw an estimated 3% increase in 2008, and expect more of the same in 2009. Orbitz online travel booking agent, saw a jump of 25% in Mexican hotel bookings.
So dust off that Speedo and pack your drinking shoes. Perhaps the cure for the economic blues is to get hammered with some Tequila in Mexico.
